These ‘I Do’ shoes are a fun and easy DIY project to personalise your wedding shoes and to give your guests a hint at your intentions as you kneel at the altar.
Here’s the How-To:
For this project, you will need:
- Diamante jewels (flat backed) – I picked mine up in Hickeys on Mary Street.
- A print out of the words ‘I DO’ – Times is a good font for this.
- Some gorgeous shoes
Line up the jewels over the letter on clear paper so you know how many jewels you will need and where to position them.
Transfer onto the sole of the shoe. This part can be a little tricky. For extra staying-power, use Super Glue to do stick them on.
Repeat for the other shoe and Voila! A cute, quirky and unique DIY project to spruce up the demurest of wedding shoes!
