Have I mentioned I love the colour purple? Today’s wedding is a real treat for me and other purple aficionados, because it’s packaged up with a minimalist theme and the results are mighty sweet. Pale petals, a perfectly still day and tandem bicycles abound. The wedding was captured by the wonderful Brett Arthur Weddings and here’s what they had to say:
“Megan and Ryan got married near Richmond, VA at a beautiful estate located on the Swift Creek Reservoir. The ceremony was held on the dock and the reception was held pool side and inside the house with a cocktail hour on another nearby dock and landing area.”
“Even with the humidity and July heat – which reached nearly 95 degrees – it was beautiful. The programs doubled as paper fans for their guests and matched the cake topper – a tandem bike, a common interest of Megan and Ryan’s. Megan’s mother did all of the decorations and all the flowers. The couple shared their first dance in front of their guests on beside the pool and then danced the night away there.”
