We all know how much planning there is involved in putting together your big day – we look after every little detail and ensure things are ’just so’ – but there is one factor, that we have no control over whatsoever – the weather. All we can do is make the most of what we are given. Meet Erin and Darrin.
This vintage-loving couple could never have foreseen that the biggest storm of the year would hit on their March wedding day. Their photographer Rochelle Mort recalls:
“Crazy winds and heavy rain didn’t stop this couple or their guests from enjoying the day. In fact the pouring waterfalls became somewhat entertainment and everyone was such great sports about it all.”
Erin had spent an entire year collecting beautiful blue glass and vintage-inspired relics for their wedding day decor. Their vintage theme inspired Erin’s elegant stole, worn over her beautiful floor-length gown.
Last word on this goes to Rochelle:
“The sun peeked out at the end of the evening for some sunset shots of the couple. This is a day that Erin & Darrin will never forget.”
