When it comes to styling your engagement session, props don’t need to cost the earth. If you’ve already raided the attic at home, why not have a snoop about in your local charity shop. You never know what you might find. That’s exactly what Joanne and Theo did for their beautiful, relaxed engagement session with Justine Russo.
Justine says: “Joanne and Theo are huge thrift store shoppers. They love to spend their weekends together travelling from store to store. They incorporated their love for this into their session. Joanne brought a roll-along suitcase full of clothing changes jewellery options and all sorts of fun little props. Their wedding is owl themed (Allow me to interject but wow! -Lisa), so they wanted to incorporate owls as much as they could! They are such a quirky couple who are so in love. They laughed their entire session!” Their props were an eclectic mix of items with a comfortable, ‘lived-in’ feel. I just love the owl figurines (I know a lot of ladies who are owl-barmy at the moment, but an Owl Themed Wedding – WOW is not the word!), and the little blackboards on which the pair put their special nicknames – now they’re eternally immortalized. Beautiful stuff.
