The Importance of Being Accessorised

My obsession with vintage continues… today we focus on how one dress can be accessorised three different looks. The dress was bought for $30 in a Canadian Vintage clothing store (bargain!).

The addition of a paper parasol and a pearls in the hair give the dress a very lady-like, oriental spin.

Here, we see how the addition of some black accessories and nail polish give the dress a polished, evening time look that could be worn down the aisle or for a night on the tiles.

HeadbandFinally, with a lace headband the dress feels rustic and fresh, perfect for an outdoor wedding, even one on a beach. Thanks to Jamie Delaine for sharing this inspirational shoot.

How would you accessorise a vintage dress? Birdcage veil, perhaps? Or killer heels? Leave a comment and let me know!
