Styled Shoot: Time Travelers Wife

Time Travelers Wife Styled Wedding Shoot

Thinking of your favourite books or poems can be a great jumping-off point for engagement shoot or wedding theme inspiration. Taking a text that transports you to another place and incorporating elements into your big day will make it feel big (or should that be bigger!) on meaning and even more personal.

Today’s post is a styled shoot based on the book (and subsequent movie) The Time Traveler’s Wife. It was shot by Justine Russo photography. Here’s what she had to say about it: “I love this book so much – the movie just as much! Their love is so inspiring. The idea of waiting your entire life to meet the love of your life, and then to have him come and go without any warning. To love someone so much you are willing to look past that. That love that makes you cling to the person so they will never let you go. That love that lasts across time. I was so inspired by their love story and worked with an amazing team to put the story into our styled shoot.” Beautiful words to introduce some really inspirational photographs. I think you’ll agree…

  3. Lovely! The little terra cotta pots are a cute touch!

  4. Lovely shoot. LOVE the photographers’ beautiful words, too! The book is a bit too intense for my taste, but these photos do a great job of bringing out the best of a powerful love story :)
