They say love is in the details, and that is especially true of today’s beautifully eclectic and rustic real wedding from Sasha Felix Photography. Heather and
Ryan trawled through yard sales, picking up blue and clear mason jars for their table numbers. Ryan wore a hat belonging to his late grandfather.
Their decor of vintage tins, vases and table runners were all bought and collected locally or borrowed from friends. Their focus on the little things adds up to a beautiful and personal wedding with lots and lots of homespun DIY inspiration.
“We used little wood pieces painted black and wrote numbers on them with chalk. We tied the numbers using twine and old fashioned clothes pins. We bought a Fuji mini Polaroid camera and set up photo area for friends.”
The DIY projects didn’t end there.
“Using an old window we mad a collage of old photos of us throughout the years – mainly high school and college. We picked old frames and had family wedding photos and also displayed Local Honey from West Shokan, used for take home gift and table assignments.” The tags for the honey were stained with tea and handwritten. Feast your eyes…
