When I caught a glimpse of this bride’s contemporary style, I just knew I had to share it with you all. Joanna and her husband, Jan, had a beautiful cosmopolitan wedding in Bayville, New York. Photographer Tessie Reveliotis said the couple look like movie stars. “Joanna was a classic beauty whose them reminded me of the 50′s.” This graceful elegance set the tone for the whole day.
As Joanna’s family are Greek the ceremony took place in a Greek Orthodox church, and Jan (pronounced ‘Yon’)'s German heritage was also incorporated into the day.
The palette of black, white and hot pink is so classic yet fun and the photos have a quirky yet classic style too. With a beautiful lace dress, champagne and confetti, the couple courted chic and elegant tradition, but they made it really personal by incorporating the city where they met and fell in love. This is one sunny and elegant wedding I won’t be forgetting in a hurry. Now to book a plane ticket to the city that never sleeps…
