Into the West…

Not long ago, in an economic climate far, far away…

“New York for the dresses, Prague for the Stag, Yemen for the Hen. Week in the sun before the big day, and honeymoon in Australia, up at Byron Bay.”

Nowadays, or at least to me, that all seems like something out of a Ross O’Carroll-Kelly book: “So there I was, roysh. BT’s had sold out of my Louboutins, my dress was, like, in customs somewhere between JFK and Dublin Airport and – oh my god – the make-up artist wasn’t even using MAC.”

You know me, quirky bride on a budget, probably won’t go to New York to get my dresses (they’re all made in China anyway, right?), but I am going to venture west on my search…

This weekend, my sister-in-law, my mam and myself are hopping on the train to G-G-G-Galway on the hunt for the perfect dress. I know, any excuse! Tune in early next week to see how we got on.
